One accountable team,
from the first call to the second year.

The claim is easy to make and easy to check. This page states exactly what we mean by it, where the accountability sits, and what we hold ourselves to while doing the work.

01 · One accountable team

No hand-off between the people who sell and the people who deliver.

The most common failure in technology services is not technical. It is the gap between the team that won the work and the team that does it.

The usual arrangement

◌ Solution architects present, then move to the next pursuit

◌ Delivery inherits a scope it did not write

◌ Support is a different organisation again, reached by ticket

◌ Escalation goes through an account manager who was not in the room

Novetum

✓ The delivery lead is in the first conversation and stays to the end

✓ Scope is written by the people who will build it

✓ The team that builds the system operates it

✓ Escalation is a phone call to a named person you have already met

02 · Our method

Discover, Design, Build, Secure, Deploy, Run.

Six stages, the same team through all of them. Security is stage four rather than a final review, because retrofitting it is where most programmes lose their schedule.

01

Discover

We sit with the people doing the work and map the process as it actually runs, not as the documentation describes it.

✓ Process mapping on site

✓ Named owners per system

✓ A written statement of the problem, agreed before scope

02

Design

We agree the target architecture and the order of work before anything is built, including what we are deliberately not doing.

✓ Target architecture

✓ Sequenced plan

✓ The rejected option, and why

03

Build

One team writes the code, led by the delivery lead you met in the first call.

✓ Embedded delivery

✓ Your engineers in the room

✓ Working software each increment

04

Secure

Identity, access, data handling and auditability are part of the build rather than a pass at the end.

✓ Access model

✓ Data handling rules

✓ Audit trail from day one

05

Deploy

We put it into your real environment and prove it under real load before anyone calls it done.

✓ Environment parity

✓ Tested rollback

✓ Cutover run jointly

06

Run & Improve

We stay on. Monitoring, fixes and the next increment, under the same accountability as the build.

✓ Monitoring and response

✓ Runbook and handover

✓ The next increment

03 · Engineering standards

What we hold ourselves to
while nobody is watching.

These are the working rules a client can hold us to during delivery, not marketing language.

◫

The rejected option is written down

Every architectural decision is recorded with the alternative we did not take and the reason. A new team reading it in two years can tell whether the reasoning still holds.

◉

Security is designed in, not reviewed in

Identity, access, data handling and audit are decided in the design stage. A security review at the end finds problems too late to fix cheaply.

◍

Handover is part of delivery

Runbooks, environment documentation and training are delivered with the system. If your team cannot operate it without us, we have not finished.

◒

We say what is not working

Status is reported honestly, including when we are behind. A programme that only reports green is not being reported.

04 · Delivery model

India delivery,
US hours.

Engineering is based in Hyderabad. Client-facing work runs on the client's working day, with a named delivery lead accountable for both.

Embedded

Our engineers work inside your team's rituals, tools and escalation path.

Dedicated team

A standing team held for you, scaled by agreement rather than by ticket.

Project

Fixed scope, fixed sequence, one accountable lead.

Managed run

Ongoing operation of what we built, under an agreed service definition.

Security & Trust Center

Certified, implemented, in progress and planned are shown as four separate states. We do not blend them into one list, and we do not describe an intention as a control.
